Ok, so I'm guessing you came here to learn how to check for viruses in your system, well look no further friend. Viruses can be tricky to catch in your system, especially if you are not a tech savvy dude (tech lover). That's why I made this tutorial to help you in removing a virus if have one.
How Will This Help Me?
Well, viruses suck performance and electricity from your pc. Viruses can be spywares, crypto miners and a lot more. If you remove them, you will get a fat performance boost and might lower your electrical bill by a dollar or something. I also think by doing this you stop bad actors from using you for money, which to be honest you won't really matter out of the thousands of hacked people.
1. Open Task Manager.
So, like 80% of tech tutorials you got to open task manager, and to that you press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC, or you can right click the taskbar and choose the button called task manager and click it. If you did these steps, you should get a small window called task manager. That's it for this step :)
2. Check The Stats.
Now read carefully, first thing is close all apps except task manager then check the CPU and GPU processing, and if you see it between 90%-100% then it means something is eating up system resources (Now for the record it doesn't have to be a virus, but it most definitely is). If you see what I said, then look for the process that consumes a lot of resources, and if it has a suspicious name like "windows driver update" which you DON'T need to take 90% of your system, right-click the process and click open file location.
Conclusion?
That's how it's done. you basically look for useless processes that eat lots of resources that appear to be useless then stopping them. For a quick warning, if you are not sure about deleting the file DO NOT DELETE IT simple mistakes can corrupt your system and you will lose all your data, so if your feeling risky make a system restore point or any other type of keeping your system safe.
How to Avoid Getting Future Viruses?
It's so easy, just stop downloading sketchy files from untrusted sources. If you are always downloading pirated/cracked games, Pirated movies or other things I think you have to stop.
